Gary Hayden Obituary

Gary Hayden Sr.

Gary Michael Hayden Sr., 55, formerly of Crofton, died October 19 at his brother's residence in Mechanicsville. He was born Feb. 18, 1955, in Leonard- town, the son of Elbert I. Hayden and the late Ruth Virginia Pickens Hayden. Gary was a truck driver for IKon, a company for computers and copiers. He was a NASCAR and Baltimore Ravens fan. He enjoyed music and the theatre. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Kline; and two brothers, Wayne and Paul Hayden.

In addition to his father, he is survived by four children, Bill Hayden of Pasadena, Gary M. Hayden Jr. of Edgewater, Crystal Hayden of Clarksburg, W.Va. and Josh Hayden of Crofton; six siblings, Charlotte Frankel, Sharon Fuller, Marilyn Hayden, Spencer Hayden, Tom Hayden and Owens Hayden; sister-in-law, Pat Hayden; friend, Patty; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The gathering will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 1800 Seton Drive, Crofton. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
