George Reich Jr.

George Christian Reich Jr., 68, of Severna Park, MD passed away at his home with his wife by his side on December 4, 2017. He was born on July 17, 1949 in Annapolis, MD, where he was raised. George had a successful medical career from 1969-1982 that included experience in The United States Navy. George was best known as the owner of the Severna Park Golf Center, a family built business that is still beloved by the Severna Park community. As an avid golfer, George loved his time spent at with family and friends at Chartwell Country Club, where he served as President in 2001. After George retired, he could be found cooking larger than life family dinners and spending time with his loved ones. George was preceded in death by his parents Mary and George Reich Sr., and his sister Dolores Rhodes. George is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Pamela Reich, his son Ben Reich (Brooke), daughter Kristin Fletcher (Will), daughter Jenna Reich-Nobles (Jenna), his much adored 5 grandchildren, Addison, Colby, Sydney, Scarlett, and Logan, his sister Anita Pastrana (Ron), his sister Beverley Gerring (Bob), his brother-in-law Dusty Rhodes, and several beloved neices and nephews. George is known to many as the most kind, loving, and generous man. A Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 4-8:00PM in the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 9:30 AM in the St. Mary's Parish 109 Duke of Gloucester St. Annapolis, MD 21401.
