George Siebold Obituary

George R. Siebold Sr., 70, a 43 year resident of Millersville, died Dec. 28 at his residence under hospice care for cancer.

Mr. Siebold was born Nov. 10, 1938 in Baltimore.

He was a machinist for Westinghouse for 40 years until retirement in 1996.

He was a loving father and grandfather known for his love of music, dry sense of humor and quick wit.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joan Siebold; two sons, George R. Siebold Jr. of Severna Park and Jim Siebold of Greensboro; two daughters, Lynda Siebold of Centreville and Gail Kalvaitis of Queenstown; two brothers, Charles Siebold of Orlando, Fla. and Bill Siebold of Pasadena; one sister, Pat Scalice of Westminster; and seven grandchildren, Christina Kalvaitis, Luke Siebold, Jake Swinney, Mike Kalvaitis, Jimmy Siebold, Amanda Siebold and Sam Siebold.

A memorial service will be held Sunday Jan. 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena.
