Irene Spriggs-Reese Obituary
Irene Spriggs-Reese, 80, of Annapolis, died January 31, 2015, at her home after a brief illness. Irene was born July 13, 1934, in Harwood, MD. She attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Fleet Business School. She was a Registar at Anne Arundel Medical Center until she retired in 1977. Surviving are fours sons Derek Ross (Deanna), Derwin Damon Ross (Gilfreda) Charles Ross (Pat), and Larry G. Reese (Fredericka) all of Annapolis; three daughters Tanya L. Taylor (Thomas) of Annapolis. Greer Ross-McCullough (Frank) of LaPlata and Beverly McDaniels of Gary, West Virginia; nine grandsons, three granddaughters, two great granddaughters; three sisters Rosalie Taylor of Chesapeake, VA, Alverta Sembly, and Beatrice Henson of Annapolis; one brother Samuel Pratt of Glen Burnie; Uncle David Mackall of Annapolis. The viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by the wake at 11:00 a.m., and the funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m., on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at First Baptist Church, 31 West Washington Street, Annapolis. Funeral services are being arranged by William Reese and Sons Mortuary, Forest Drive, Annapolis. Interment will be at Bestgate Memorial Park.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Irene, she was my buddy we worked together at then what was called Anne Arundel General Hospital and also we went to Fleet Business school together. The last time I saw her was October of 2013 and then I didn't see her after that. She will be missed by all she was a very lovely person, always had a smile on her face and was such a friendly person. She has earned her wings, she will never be
forgotten.
