Jessie Anderson Obituary

ANDERSON, JESSIE LAVINIA HALL of Daytona Beach, Florida died on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, in Severna Park, Maryland. She was born in the Pasadena community of Magothy, MD. She is the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Carroll Hall. She retired from the Anne Arundel County School System after serving as a teacher, principal and librarian for many years. Upon retiring she relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida. She was a faithful member of Stewart Memorial United Methodist Church in Florida.

She has two sons surviving her; Bruce Anderson of Glen Burnie, MD and Gerald Anderson (Mary) of Pasadena, MD; Sister, Ms. Mary Henson of Daytona Beach, FL; grandsons, Bruce Dewayne Anderson and Patrick Anderson; granddaughters, Twana Thomas (David) and Patrice Anderson; great grandson, David Jr. and numerous other relatives.

A Christian wake will be held at Mt. Zion Magothy United Methodist Church, 8178 Artic Road, Pasadena, Maryland 21122, on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:30 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Mt. Zion Magothy in Pasadena, MD. A Public viewing will take place in Baltimore, on Monday July 16, 2012, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Estep Funeral Home, 1300 Eutaw Place, Baltimore, MD 21217.
