John Stackowitz Obituary
John Sylvester Stackowitz (Blacksheep), of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away April 5, 2018 at home with family after a long battle with lung cancer. John was born in Baltimore on August 4, 1946 and raised hell for 71 years.
After retirement you could find him in the garage or porch sitting with friends and family enjoying a cold one. He also enjoyed country music, restoring old cars, drag racing, fishing, and making people laugh.
John is survived by his loving wife and favorite Testarossa of 37 years, Linda (nee Conner), his five beautiful daughters, Sandy (Mark), Bekki (Mark), Carrie (Brian), Melissa (Josh), and Jenny (Daniel), his 13 grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Erica, Mark Jr., Dempsey, Gabrielle, Declan, Charles, Thomas, Jacob, Julianne, Joseph, and Katherine, (also known as Spudz, Issy, Ricky Pookowski, Doogle, Dempster, Breezy, Wobble-Head, A, B, J-Dizzle, Josey Posey, Mighty Joe Young, and Carrot-top, respectively) his three great-grandchildren Brylie, Lucas, and Harper, his father Felix, his sister Katherine, and his three granddogs Sarabi, Rocky, and Boh. He is preceded in death by his mother Katherine, brother David, and beloved dog PJ.
Friends and family are welcome to join a Celebration of Life on Saturday April 14, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Dukes Tavern located at 1700 Furnace Drive, Glen Burnie, MD 21060. No snowflakes allowed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of John Stackowitz to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Disclaimer: John would not want his obituary this boring, however, some of his more "serious" children have no sense of humor.

Dear family. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I didn't know John, but he sounds like a funny, fun guy and I love the humor in the obituary. It is one-of-a-kind! May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together. God bless!

Sweet, sweet Connie will always remember Johnny for thinking me sweet. LOL. I didnt know him near as well as I know his wife but he always brought a smile whenever we saw each other. He will be missed. Go forward and name them all up there.
