John Tobin

1966 - 2022

John Michael Tobin of Glen Burnie, MD died November 30, 2022, at home. He was 56. Born on October 25, 1966 in Annapolis, MD he was the son of the late John Francis Tobin and Catherine Marie Biller. John grew up in the Annapolis area. He graduated from Broadneck High School and then began a career in HVAC and plumbing. He was a journeyman plumber/gas fitter and member of the Baltimore Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 486 for over 25 years. John had many hobbies including soccer, hunting, archery, motorcycles, but his passion was fishing, crabbing and spending time on the bay. He loved tinkering around with his fishing boat, and always had some rockfish, crabs, or oysters to eat and share. John is survived by his stepmother Paula R. Tobin; brother David C. Tobin (Aimee Tobin), niece Caitlin Tobin, nephew Jackson Tobin; stepsister Keri R. Voight–Watts, nieces Immani Wells, Renata Watts, nephew Jeremiah Watts; and stepsister Amy T. Voight (Dale Christ), as well as many loved uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. We will all miss John's big heart and beautiful soul. A celebration of life gathering will be held on June 3, 2023, in the Annapolis area.
