Kay Anne Krieger, 67, a 14-year resident of Crownsville, died Saturday, March 26 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a five year battle with Lung Cancer. Kay was born on Feb. 20, 1944 in Baltimore to the late Donald Everett Murphy and Audrey Anne (nee Huffmeister) Murphy. Kay grew up in Arbutus. She lived in Orange County, CA for thirty years, where she worked for Hughes Aircraft Company, and was a member of the "Rolling Hacks" camping club. Kay also lived in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Maldives Islands. Most recently she lived in Crownsville, where she was an active member of the Anne Arundel Alarmers Association and loved volunteering. Kay retired from D.R.S. Technologies. She enjoyed an adventurous life with many family, friends, and pets, especially "Kodi-Bear" her dog. She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Miller of Glen Burnie, Denise Eilkerson of Pasadena; one son, Donald McCullough of Crowsville; two sisters, Sharon Murphy of Arbutus, and Donna Murphy of Marietta; five grandchildren, Evan and Kristin McCullough, Brook and River Miller, and Kyle Wilkerson. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 31 at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. Halethorpe.
