Keith Hanson Obituary

Keith Hanson

LCDR Keith Raymond Hanson, USN, died July 1 as a result of injuries received in a car accident.
He was born January 25, 1973 in Fremont, NE, and graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1995, where he met and married Jennifer Dorr on November 9, 1996. He received his Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2007, and graduated from the Navy Test Pilot School in 2008. The family currently resides in Frisco, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Dorr Hanson; his eight-year-old daughter, Hannah; parents, James and Mary Ann Hanson; and brothers, Jay, Kelly and Ron.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 6, at Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A., 851 Annapolis Rd., Gambrills. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Keith Hanson's memory to the March of Dimes at www.marchofdimes.com
He will be laid to rest with a burial service at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
