Logan Hottle Obituary

Logan Parry Hottle, 79, a 25-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of New Britain, PA passed away at her home on April 13, 2025. Born on June 11, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, she attended Skidmore College and received her MBA from Wharton Graduate School in 1976, where she was the first woman to ever be class president. Following college, she established a 19-year career in marketing with Johnson & Johnson. In her spare time, Logan enjoyed sailing and skiing, even working as a ski instructor for 16 years at Ski Cooper in Leadville, CO. She was a member of the Chesapeake Bristol Sailing Club (where she was twice commodore), the West River Sailing Club (where she was founder and president of the West River Sailing Foundation). Logan is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Willard D. Hottle of Edgewater, MD and her sister, Kathryn Parry Martin of Colonial Beach, VA. A Celebration of Life is currently being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake (90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122) or to a charity of your choice.
