Lorraine Jacukiewicz

1942 - 2021

Lorraine Jacukiewicz, age 79, of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away on December 25, 2021 in the loving presence of her husband, Alfred. Lorraine was born in Sayreville, New Jersey on July 29, 1942 to Joseph and Martha Ostrowski. She graduated from Sayreville High School in 1960 and then Wayne University in 1964 with a teaching degree. She taught Elementary School for several years then married Alfred Jacukiewicz on August 15, 1964 (the same day her parents were married-August 15). She dedicated her life to the care of her family. She is survived by three daughters - Deborah Laite, Donna Ball and Dawn Howard. She had 5 grandchildren - Christi Milson, Samantha Laite, Jackie Ball, Jaime and Josh Howard and one great grandson, David Milson. Lorraine was very active in her church where she was on the church President Council, headed the Giving Tree Program and coordinated meals for the homeless and other charitable activities. She loved the ocean, gardening, making gingerbread houses with her grandchildren every holiday season, and hosting Easter festivities. A memorial mass is scheduled at St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park on January 7th at 11am, followed by a short reception. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to the Leukemia Society.
