Lou was such a lovely man. I met he and his wife at the Elks in Venice from around 2017. He was always a delight to speak with. My husband's family had lived in Maryland and we spoke of that area as well of his service. I also made sure that whenever I was around taking photos for the Elks that I captured his smile with his wife. I always commented on how nicely he was dressed with his tie. I had just seen him four days before he passed at the primary elections as he was as always with a smile. As always he was doing his civic duty. I hope to continue his legacy of duty! He will be missed.
