Milton Siegert Obituary

Milton Edward Siegert, 57, of Annapolis, previously of Kula, Maui, Hawaii, died Oct. 23 at his home after a lengthy illness.

Ed Siegert was born May 24, 1951 to the late Milton E. Siegert, Sr., and Frieda Siegert of Annapolis. He attended Annapolis High School before joining the military service.

After his service with the Army, he proudly volunteered at the White House in Washington DC. He was the owner and operator of Siegert Brother's Roofing in Annapolis, Maryland before he retired.

He attended Saint Mary's Church of Annapolis and was a parishioner of Holy Ghost Church in Kula.

He enjoyed life to the fullest. He was well traveled and found peace in the islands. Among his many accomplishments he was a chaplain of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed music, touring and working with ZZ Top, Point Blank and Charlie Daniels Band in the nineteen eighties. He loved animals, boating and liked to fish.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Anne Siegert, two brothers, Richard Dale Siegert of Maui, Hawaii and Mark Alan Siegert of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two daughters, Debbie Marie Siegert of Maui, Hawaii and Jessica Leigh Adams of Ohio; and one son, Brian Siegert of Iowa and three grand daughters, (twins) Sarah and Micah Peterson of Severna Park; and Brianna Siegert of Iowa and two grand sons, Austin and Jessie James Siegert of Iowa.

In addition to his immediate survivors, he had a large circle of friends and loved ones both here in the Islands of Hawaii and through out the mainland.

A private memorial was held for family at Ballard Family Mortuary on Monday, October 27. There will be a mass in his name at Holy Ghost Church on Sunday, followed by a celebration of life at his home in Kula on November 2, 2008.
