What a sweet, kind man that will surely be missed! My fondest memories of Pat are riding around a Visit Orlando golf tournament for the day. He drove all the way over, very early in the morning, just to volunteer his time. Amazing! He was a joy to know. My sincerest condolences.

What I'll always remember about Pat, in addition to his excitement at winning tickets to France at a Visit Orlando event, is how he treated people. Dear Marilyn and Family,
It was a shock to get the news of Pat's death. Pat and I became friends in 1960 and were very close throughout high school and college. I have many fond memories of my days at Lake Forest where Pat and I would spend most of the day water skiing, boating or just hanging out. We had a lot in common and enjoyed each others company very much.
Pat was a kind person, with a good sense of humor and enjoyed a spontaneous adventure. He made me and others grateful to be his friend.
I am sorry that I will not be able to join you for the memorial service.
Very warm regards,
Brian Gore

When my Mom died, someone sent us this: Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. Rather, it is to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...Wow-what a Ride! Thank you Pat for letting me be part of your ride. Becky Hamilton

I, like many, knew Pat from his untiring commitment to Florida Citrus Sports. At any event, all I had to do was be near him and he would go out of his way to say hello. No matter whom he greeted, he was sure to mention something that was near and dear to that person, whether it was their family, their school or some other topic. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
