Patsy Lathan

Patsy Lathan passed away on September 8, 2018 at 9:00am at home. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Patsy was born on 03/28/1943 to Walter and Jane Edna Lewis in Memphis TN. She later moved to Baltimore, MD where she had one child. She also resided in Annapolis, Arnold, Severna Park and later retired to South Carolina where she lived for the past 12 years. She worked at BFI/Waste Management and was also the owner of the College Inn in Arnold for years. She later worked part time at Food Lion in Conway SC. Survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert Phipps, had one daughter, Debra Vacek and had 3 grandchildren, Dorothea Royal, Danielle Scott, and Darrin Hackett Jr. and also had 3 great grandsons, JoJo, Cam and Trey. Her hobbies included reading, traveling, shopping, gardening and the beach. Services will be held at a later date. Guest Book available at MyrtleBeachFH.com
