Roland Dennis Obituary
Roland Carl Dennis, Jr., 76, of Brooklyn Park, passed away on Nov. 5, 2017. Roland was born in Baltimore on June 16, 1941 to the late Roland C. and Catherine E. (Emerich) Dennis. He graduated from Southern High School in 1959. He married Sue Catherine Quasny on April 25, 1964, he enjoyed making Sue laugh just about every day of their marriage. He was a Material Shipper for Arundel Corporation and retired with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed the beach, fishing, watching sports, and most of all being Grandpa to Morgan. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and Local Teamsters Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Virginia Krause, Charlotte Evans, and Catherine "Pat" Wampler. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sue C. Dennis; loving daughter, Suzanne Dennis (Bonnie Goben); cherished granddaughter, Morgan Dennis; his sister, Barbara Nicholls (Renwick); one sister-in-law, Betty File (Earl); and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW, (at Crain Hwy), Glen Burnie, on Thursday, Nov. 9 , 2017 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM, for Visitation . A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
