Sean Perkins Obituary

Sean Richard Perkins of Severn found peace after a heroic battle with cancer in the early morning hours of August 7, 2023. Sean, being born in Riva and growing up in Edgewater, spent most of his 52 years in Anne Arundel County save short stays in Montana and Illinois. Sean attended Edgewater Elementary, Central Middle, and South River High Schools. He has always been an artist and has worked in several sign shops, starting with Woodgoes Signs in Edgewater, and finishing off at his own company, Heathens R Us, in Queen Anne. Sean is survived by his mother, Susan Perkins of Riva, his father, Don Perkins "DP" of Owings, his brother, Trevor Perkins (Michelle) of Owings, his sister, Amber Perkins of Odenton, his nephews and niece, Jackson, Leah and Grant Perkins of Owings, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from all over, and his chosen family, or "Soul Tribe" as he referred to it, that grew larger and larger over the years. Sean was a light-hearted, fun-loving man, who lived his life on his own terms. He loved easily and was easily loved. With that in mind, all who knew and loved him are invited to a celebration of life on Sunday, September 17 at 3:00PM at 315 West Chesapeake Beach Rd, Owings, MD. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hope House Treatment Center, 26 Marbury Dr., Crownsville, MD 21032.
