Sheri Morgan Obituary

To love abundantly is to live abundantly, and to love forever is to live forever". That Henry Drummond quote personifies Sheri Dawn Morgan, who passed away on October 1, 2024. She fought ovarian cancer for the past two years and never stopped fighting to the end. Sheri fought so incredibly hard to live. She lived for each and every special moment she could spend with the family and friends she loved so very much. Sheri was born on July 6, 1957 in Columbia, South Carolina to Jack and Sandra Webb of Millersville, MD. Sheri graduated from Arundel High School in 1975 and attended Towson University. She started her professional career as a manager of a chain of Burger King restaurants, then went to Ford Aerospace as an Office Administrator; and completed her career at the Howard County Circuit Court, as Manager of the Clerk's Office. While her children were young, Sheri dedicated her life to raising them and supporting their passions. Sheri was most notably involved in leading her daughters' girl scout troops. Her leadership inspired the girls to stick with the program for many years and she was responsible for creating many special memories. In her retirement, Sheri devoted herself to enjoying time with and caring for her grandchildren. Sheri and her beloved husband, George, spent most of their free time at their "Shore" home near Chincoteague, where they enjoyed time with friends and family and the pleasures of living on the water. Survived by: her husband, George Morgan; former spouse, William German; children, Christiana (Killo) German, Nicole (Ewing) German, and Amberly (Vick) German; son-in-law's, Joe Killo, Travis Ewing, and Matt Vick; step-children, Jessica Peacock, Tony Morgan, Kelly Lease, and Gwenn Morgan; grandchildren, Autumn Griggs, Aidan Griggs, Cael Killo, Kenleigh Killo, Troy Ewing, Quinn Ewing, Faith Ewing, Brock Ewing, Ridley Vick, and Jax Vick; parents, Jack and Sandra Webb; sister, Julie Cooper; and nephew, Sky Overturf. Sheri was a kind and loving soul. She loved her girls and all of her family very much.
She had a special and
infectious laugh as well as a calming spirit. She loved life.
We grew up together as cousins from a Very young age. We were blessed with amazing Grandparents and spent many fun and special times together from very young. Many Trips to Tampa for family holidays together as well as trips "Just Because".
Those were certainly special memories and I feel blessed to have shared those times together.
I also remember our Family Reunion in Saluda. Filled with laughter and wrapped in the warm blanket of family.
I til this day will always cherish the times together, wherever and whenever we we were able to do so. And there were many.
I often say I like to warm my hands over the fire of all the good times and memories in my life. And those were some of my fondest.
We are all sad that she has left us. But God certainly has a place for her in Heaven. And Heaven truly has another Angel... that I know for sure.
Go Rest High on that Mountain Sheri. Give all those who have been called Home before you a big hug!
We shall all be together one day. I love you and am honored to call you Family and Friend!

I met Sheri Webb in my junior year at Arundel High School when working my first job at Burger King in Odenton, Maryland. Within a short time, Sheri and I became fast friends. Having lived a nomadic life as a military brat, it was unusual for me to make the kind of friendship we had in such a short time. It was as if we´d always been friends. That was Sheri´s beautiful, wonderfully warm, kind and generous spirit that made you feel you belonged.

Linda Lane became my favorite street since that´s where Sheri and my other newest best friend, her neighbor Laura Summers lived. Mr. and Mrs. Webb and Mr. and Mrs. Summers welcomed their daughter´s new friend in their homes. My new home was away from home.

My fondest memories in the final year and half of high school was because of what we shared in that brief time. It was exciting, and so much fun! We stayed up many late nights talking about life, giggling about our crushes, our dreams and most importantly what we were going to do over the weekend. Sheri and I cruised in her classic car or my fastback listening and rocking to
8 track-tapes.

Sheri, it was an honor and blessing to have met you.
Even after all these years I have no doubt the universe is a better place because of you

My deepest, most heartfelt condolences to Sheri´s family and friends for their loss.

Respectfully with love,
Claudette Landini-Pierron

We have been blessed to have shared many loving and wonderful years with Sheri. We met by chance 37 years ago and connected immediately!! As young Moms, we basically raised our girls together. As families we took trips and some vacations together. We enjoyed these times immensely and had lots of fun and laughter!

Sheri graciously shared her home, and family with us. She was truly one of the most giving, sincere and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Sheri adored her entire familyI, her husband, girls, grandchildren and wonderful parents and could often be found doing something with or for them.

We will treasure having had Sheri in our lives as a neighbor and dear friend.

She will surely be missed by many...and will live in our hearts forever.

With Sympathy and Love,
Dawn and Craig Garrison and daughters, Emily and Laura
