My sincerest condolences. Big Tommy features prominently in so many of my memories from GBVFD, with that deep voice, infectious laugh, and willingness to help anyone. I'll even miss that determined attitude when he had his heart set on something! He will be missed.

Oh, how Im going to miss that booming voice and mischievous attitude.
Rest peacefully, Mr. Tom. Its hard to describe the respect and endearment that is encapsulated in calling my uncle mister. He was the chief, the boss, the best. He treated my aunt like a queen and made every member of our huge family feel like they were an absolute treasure.
HE was a treasure. And he will be dearly missed.

The Marvel Family shared many happy times with the Nevins. My mother and his mom were like sisters and Tommy and Pat came to my birthday parties when I was little. I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing and extend my sympathies to his family. His contributions to the town of Glen Burnie will always be remembered. Countless hours of unselfish devotion. A gift to the community.

From the Age 16 Chief was always a big influence in my life. He was a good man and I have wondered what happen to all the Old Men from 33! At the age of 50 I always catch myself reminiscing about the old days and Mr Tom. He will be surely missed and without him the GBVFD would have disappeared a long time ago!! Rest Easy and Good Journey Chief
