Thomas Ruark

Thomas W. Ruark, 69, a 53 year resident of Pasadena and a US Navy Veteran died at his residence on April 15. He was born in Baltimore on July 14, 1939 to the late Garland A. and Lillie M. Ruark. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1958. Mr. Ruark was an asset manager for the Eastern Savings Bank and in 2007 retired after 16 years of service. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, landscaping, gardening, watching the birds and nature, swimming, traveling and cruising to foreign countries. Mr. Ruark was also a certified scuba diver.
He is survived by his wife Merry Ruark (nee Ryan), two daughters, Deborah L. Llewellyn and Andrea M. Shank, both of Pasadena; one sister, Millie M. Jewell of Odenton, and his grandchildren Bradley Knoll, and Allen and Jacob Shank.
Friends may call on Sat., April 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sun., April 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, where funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 11 a.m.. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
