William Johnston Jordan

1935 - 2022

William Johnston Jordan, known to friends and family as Billy, passed away on September 15, 2022 in the company of his children and sister. He was born on February 9, 1935 to Clifford and Minnie Jordan in Temple, GA. He attended Annapolis High School and graduated with the class of 1953. He married his high school sweetheart and enjoyed 63 years with her before her passing in May of 2019. Billy worked as a brick mason with the Washington Brick Layers Union and later worked for himself. He was a well-known musician in the area for many years spreading his love for music with his guitar and fiddle. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen Jordan; four brothers, Dorsey, Theodore "Buck", Jack, and Jim and their wives; his sister Helen and her husband; his son Jeffrey; as well as his great-grandson Hunter. He is survived by his children; William "Rocky" Jordan, Jr. of Queenstown, MD; Pamela J. Martin of Arnold, MD; and Patricia A. Thomas of Arnold, MD; his sister Mary Elizabeth Ann Verry of Annapolis, MD; and 8 adoring grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 12:30pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146.
