Bill was a wonderful person and I miss him hugely. He was the funniest, kindest and warm person I will ever know. I'm so sad that he is gone. But the good memories will stay forever.

Imagine the beauty of it . . .
That moment,
when the soul of a loved one
returns to the stars . . .
Each one whispering,
I remember you . . .
Sending healing thoughts and prayers to you and yours Lyn.❤

Bill and I played music together in high school, first and second percussionists. We had a band called the Silopanna Brass (after the Tijuana Brass - Annapolis backwards, get it? That was one of Bill's crazy ideas I think). We had a regular gig at Buzzy's Pizza near Gate 8 at the Naval Academy. Bill played marimba, I played drums. We also went on double-dates together. Bill always cracked me up with his zany sense of humor. We wrote a song together called "Meet Me At The Laundromat". I still remember it. The world is missing a great musician and a wonderful person.

Our family always enjoyed hearing him play at buzzys pizza! Decades later I had the privilege of his friendship on Facebook. Bless his family at this difficult time!

Bill was one of the funniest and best people I knew. His joy for music and life was contagious. He is irreplaceable, but he will absolutely live on in the lives of us all. Thank you for making my life so much better, Bill.
