Antoinette Dudek Obituary

Antoinette “Annette” V. Dudek, age 77, of Athens, Illinois, formerly of Lockport, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 9, 2024.

 Annette was born on September 28, 1947, in Chicago, the daughter of Raymond Majewski and Grace (Corey) Majewski. 

 Annette loved being by the water. It brought her so much joy to be boating or swimming and looking at beautiful lighthouses. 

 She was proud to say she was the first woman to work on the dock and become supervisor at Yellow Freight.

 Annette also enjoyed going for long bike rides and driving her own motorcycle.

 She is survived by her children, Renee (Ronald) Mangialardi, Mark (Barbara) Dudek, and Michael (Susan) Dudek, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael Dudek III, Melissa Dudek, Marik Dudek, Francis (Jaycie) Dudek, Gina Mangialardi, Michaela Dudek; her great-grandchildren, Kora and Layla; her brothers and sisters, Joseph, Sandy, James, Judy, Raymond, William, Christine, and Darlene.

 Preceding her in death are her parents and siblings, Bob, Butch, Sue, Janice, Kathleen, Donald, and Garry.

 Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

 Mott & Henning Funeral Home is assisting the family.
