Nancy Alexander Obituary

Nancy Lynn Alexander, 71, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was born on June 25, 1953, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of John Robert and Doris Ann (Fleck) Knight. Nancy was a devoted lover of nature that leaves behind a legacy of beauty and creativity. She found joy in the outdoors, spending countless hours planting flowers and designing breathtaking landscapes that brought life and color to those around her. She was preceded in death by her father, John Knight. Nancy is survived by her mother, Doris Knight; daughters, Nicole Alexander of Springfield and Courtney Alexander of Hendersonville, TN; grandson, Jack Alexander of Springfield; brother, Dave Knight of Pittsburgh, PA; and sister, Julie (Tony) Knight Seman of Naples, FL. Cremation was provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society. I´m so sorry to hear of Nancy´s passing. She was such a sweet lady. I bet the gardens will be beautiful in heaven.
