Arthur Szymanski Obituary
He was born Jan. 2, 1935 in Union County, N.J., a son of the late Arthur Szymanski and Lydia Schlank Szymanski. He was the husband of Bobbie Jo "BJ" Ferguson Szymanski.
Mr. Szymanski enjoyed playing golf and he dearly loved animals. He was a member of Paws in the Panhandle and a volunteer with the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
Mr. Szymanski is survived by his wife of 46 years, BJ Szymanski; a son, Russell Szymanski; and two brothers, Allen Szymanski and Lee Szymanski.
Mr. Szymanski was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffery Szymanski; and a brother, Robert Szymanski.
The Celebration of Life memorial service for Mr. Szymanski will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Waldrop.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service Friday, Aug. 31, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Mr. Szymanski.
