Steven Lee Obituary
He was born May 8, 1941, in Coral Gables, Fla., the son of the late Dorothy Boone Lee and Karl Lee. Steve Lee was a butcher and meat manager at Publix for over 50 years. He enjoyed golfing and was a grill master, but enjoyed fishing the most. His greatest joy in life was his family and he deeply cherished all of the family gatherings. Steve Lee was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was a loyal Florida Dolphins fan.
Steve Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan Connell Lee: two daughters, Jennifer Michelle Lee Herlong (Dan) and Beth Allison Lee; two sons, Christopher Karl Lee (Leighanne) and Patrick Steven Lee (Amanda), all of Waxhaw, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, Alison, Ryan, Jewel, David, Jamie, Cory, Malaina, Brenner, Jackson and Vivia; his devoted step/chosen father, Ted Mach; a brother, Edmond Mach; his loyal defender, Spike Lee; and his lifelong friends.
Steve Lee was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Michael Mach.
