I worked with Barbara in the capacity as an or nurse, cysto nurse and office nurse and she was both professional and wonderful. She was also a very dear friend to both myself and my mother. She will be missed.

Ms. Barbara you will be missed by many. I started my OR nursing career at Carroll Hospital Center and worked with you and your husband Dr. Nipkow. Thinking back what a delight to work with two wonderful people. Not until now did I realized I worked with your wonderful daughter at Howard County General, Dr. Lisa Hawes, Another delight! I always admired your pose Barbara and kindness. May you rest in peace and dance the night away with Dr. Nipkow.
