Bernard Oursler

1933 - 2023

Bernard LeRoy Oursler, 90, of Westminster, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster. Born on February 24, 1933, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Russell Bernard Oursler and Margaret Rebecca (Caple) Oursler. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patricia Ann Oursler.  Bernard was a Veteran in the United States Navy from 1953-1957. He worked in Accounting at Ward Machinery Co. He enjoyed dance, band, and sports, especially ice hockey.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by many family members and dear friends. The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 10 to 11 am, with a funeral service being held at 11 am, at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD. 21158.  Interment will follow at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore.  Donations can be made in his name to the BridgingLife Hospice at 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD. 21157, or to the Carroll County Humane Society, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD. 21158, or any charity of your choice.  Arrangements were made by Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. in Manchester, Maryland.  Online condolences can be made at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com.
