Charles Farrow Obituary

Charles Virgil Farrow, Jr., 75, of Westminster, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his home. He was the cherished husband of Maria G. (Fuggitti) Farrow, his wife of 52 years. Charles was born on December 26, 1947, in Baltimore, to the late Charles Virgil Farrow, Sr. and Marjorie Parent Farrow. He was a graduate of Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam war era. After serving, he was a foreman for Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE), retiring after 33 years of service. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his children, son Eric A. Farrow and wife Lynne of Towson; daughter Christina M. Talbot and husband Brian of Westminster, five grandchildren, Nicolas M. Talbot; Owen C. Farrow; Maximilian G. Talbot; Brooks F. Farrow; and William T. Farrow. He also leaves behind a sister, Barbara A. DallaTezza and husband Louis of Sykesville; a brother-in-law, Massimo Fuggitti of Silver Spring; two nephews, Michael Fuggitti, his son Antonio and Marco Fuggitti, wife Laura and two daughters Gianna and Liliana as well as many loving cousins and other family members. Charles was a lifelong Orioles and Ravens fan. He enjoyed woodworking, planting his vegetable garden and making things for his family. Charles frequently vacationed in Chincoteague, VA with his family where he loved to fish. He was proud of his house which he built with his father in 1974. Most of all, Charles cherished the time spent with his family. The family will welcome friends to a visitation on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 5 to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. I had the opportunity to see his work shop when he built the adorandak chairs. Very skilled and loved his dad so much and his family. Again prayers going your way to have an easier sorrow.

Chuck was a good man. He loved to work in his workshop. He made me two garden benches. He also made me a beautiful bird house that I have in our yard. He liked to carve, too and he gave me the Irish Cross. He was kind and loved to chat about the good ole days. We will miss him so much. May he rest peacefully for all eternity.
We will always love you Chuck,
Steve, Kathy, Steve and Becky
