Constance Zink Obituary

Constance "Connie" Zink, 73, of Hanover, PA., passed away on January 13, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Bernard "Bernie" Zink for 33 years. Born October 2, 1952, in Carrollton, MD, she was the devoted daughter of the late Russell and Mable Dixon Hughes. Connie was a true fighter who was very loving and caring. She loved to bake and celebrate holidays, especially Christmas. Most of all, she was a woman who loved her grandkids. Connie is survived by her son; Jim Myers. Grandchildren; Dakota Reid and wife Abi, Jacob Reid, McKenna Reid and Megan Myers. Great-grandchild; Walker. Sister; Pat Bosley and brother; Donnie Hughes and wife Rachel. Son-in-law; Scott Reid. Family friend; Matthew Warren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter; Stefanie Reid and siblings; Eddie, Barbara, Nancy, and Richard. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 12-2 pm at Brandenburg & Stein Funeral Parlor, 3045 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA, where a service will begin at 2 pm with Connie Battilo Officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at www.komen.org. To sign the online guestbook and leave condolences go to www.gettysburgfunerals.com.
