Darlene Lucille Hall

Darlene Lucille Hall, 84, passed away on September 28, 2025 at Pleasant View Healthcare Center in Mount Airy, MD. Born on August 11, 1941 in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Odham) Mullins. She is preceded in death by her husband, George "Walter" Hall; son, Robert Manning; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Joan Mullins. She loved visiting with friends at McDonald's, collecting teddy bears, and sharing her passion for helping others while working at Carroll County General Hospital. She never stopped her love of playing gospel hymns on the piano and could often be found in her nursing facility leading other residents in song. Her musical talents live on through her children. Darlene is survived by her children, Cindy Smith, Krystal Brandenburg (Bill), David Manning, Jr. and William Manning; grandchildren, Stephanie Alexandra, Bill, Alexandra, Nicholas, Stephanie, Mindy, Jacob, and Rayna; a host of great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends. The family will welcome friends on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 11-1pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD. A funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00pm with Chaplain Art Monroe officiating. Interment will take place in Meadow Branch Cemetery, 818 Old Taneytown Road, Westminster, MD 21158.
