Dennis Wayne Gill

Denny, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering faith. Denny's greatest joy was his family, and his home was filled with laughter, support, and love. He was a wonderful husband to both Linda and Kathleen, a loving father to Matthew, Eric and Jacob and daughters-in-law Kate and Blaire, and a proud Pop Pop to Aiden, Owen and Colin. A pillar of his community, Denny owned and operated Carroll County Auto Parts for over forty years. His dedication to his work was matched only by the warmth, generosity, and grace he showed to everyone who walked through his doors. Deeply rooted in his faith, Dennis approached every day with gratitude and a genuine concern for others. A longtime member of Uniontown Bible Church, he was a believer who did his best to pass on to others the love of Jesus Christ. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Orioles, Ravens, and Terps, never missing a chance to cheer them on. In retirement, he found great happiness on the golf course, playing weekly rounds with his closest friends and relishing the camaraderie and competition. Denny was the ultimate extrovert-he never met a stranger and delighted in conversation wherever he went. He made countless friendships, never traveling anywhere without running into someone he knew. His vibrant spirit and heartfelt warmth will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Denny's heart was filled with gratitude for the many friends who stepped in to help during Kathleen's recovery and his illness. The kindness you showed meant so much to his whole family. The family will receive visitors at Pritt's Funeral Home November 21: 2-4:30 and 6-8 and a Celebration of Life Service will be held November 22 1:00 at Uniontown Bible Church, 4272 Watson Lane, Union Bridge MD 21791.
