Diane C. Fisher

Diane Catherine Fisher, 72, of Hampstead, MD passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in Baltimore, MD. Born January 11, 1951 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Louis D. and M. Jeannette (née Fleischmann) Steinbacher. She was the wife of William H. Fisher, Jr., her husband of 51 years. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the Auxiliary of Hampstead Post 200 of the American Legion. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, where she was the leader of the Respect Life Committee. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Kelly Fisher of Hanover, PA; daughters, Michelle K. Taylor of Hampstead and Sheri M. Fisher of Baltimore; sisters, Marylyn A. Kreseski of Westminster, MD, Elizabeth L. Steinbacher, Jean M. Kuntzman. and Mary Ann Steinbacher, all of Baltimore; brother, David L. Steinbacher of Parkton, MD; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 13, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Manchester with the Rev. Collin Poston and the Rev. Michael Roach as celebrants.
