Donald E. Frock

1934 - 2022

Donald Eugene Frock, 88, of Westminster, MD, entered into God's eternal care, Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Northwest Hospital-Hospice Unit, Randallstown, MD. Born March 13, 1934, in Westminster, MD, he was the son of the late Lloyd J. and Mary V. (Zepp) Frock. Donald was the loving husband of the late Marian L. (Jones) Frock. He was the companion to Phyllis Frock of Hanover, PA, and the late Ella Miller. Donald served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. He evacuated wounded soldiers from front line combat to triage tents in a litter Jeep. As a young boy, Donald worked with his father in the lumber business, where he ran the steam engine in order to power the lumber saw. He became a Stone Mason, in the 1950's. He started with Russell Neiderer Masonry, and through his career, worked for G. Millard Staub Masonry, and retired from Thomas Lawver Masonry. Donald was a member of St. Bartholomew's United Church, ELCA, Hanover, PA, the American Motorcycle Association, The United Coonhunters Association, and a life member of the Hanover Elks Lodge #763. Throughout his life, Donald enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, going to flat track motorcycle races, hunting, and woodworking. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles & Ravens. Donald is survived by one daughter, Jennifer L. Frock of Westminster, MD, one sister Genevieve Reese of Hanover, PA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde, Guy, Charles, and Harold Frock, and four sisters, Virginia Bortner, Mary Wentz, Grace Feeser, and Helen Dutterer. A viewing for friends and family will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard Burial Detail will provide Military Honors.
