Edward Stout Obituary



Edward Albert Stout, 85, of Marriottsville, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House, in Westminster.

Born March 15, 1928, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick Stout and the late Leona Marski Stout. He was the husband of Rita Marie Sanders Stout, his wife of 49 years.

He was a plumbing superintendent for Ed-Vern Plumbing Company. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Community in Eldersburg. He was an avid baseball fan. He served during the Korean War in the Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Post #122 in Randallstown/Owings Mills.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons Joseph Stout and wife Robbie, of Sparks, and Scott Stout and wife Angie, of Westminster; brothers Robert Stout, of Baltimore, and Al Stout, of Arizona; and grandchildren Victoria, Mary, Kayla and Spencer Stout.

He was predeceased by siblings Frederick Stout and Joan Rosetti.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of a rosary, 8 p.m. Thursday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.

A funeral liturgy Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, with the Fr. Neville O'Donohue, S.M. officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Father O'Neill Charities, P. O. Box 52, Lutherville, MD 21094-0052.
