Ernest Hunter Obituary

On November 1, 2024 Ernest Paul Hunter, Sr. passed away with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Lila Dell Hunter (nee McGinnis) and the devoted father of Clare Alford and her husband Willie of Reisterstown, MD, Theresa Carlson of Baldwin, MD, the late Ernest P. Hunter, Jr. and the late Mary Hunter-Tabassi. Grandfather of Tara Tabassi and brother of Catherine Lawrence. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Ernest was a member of St Charles Fun Fellowship and a 1948 graduate of Calvert Hall. He was an avid roller skater until the age of 85 and loved sailing, canoeing, gardening and always helping people just because he could. Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Road Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Thursday November 7th from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Church 101 Church Lane Pikesville, MD 21208 on Friday November 8th at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Loudon Park Cemetery.
