Florence Audrey Graf

Florence Audrey Graf, 86, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025, at her home with her loving family. Born July 14, 1939, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late William Luther and Mary Frances (Morison) Knott. She was the loving wife of the late Charles "Chuck" Richard Graf, Sr., who predeceased her in 2020. They just missed their 60th wedding anniversary June 11th, 1960. Audrey obtained her BS at University of Maryland where she met Chuck. She worked in banking and then substituted Kindergarten classes. Audrey often was a chaperone for her children's field trips and helped with many fund raisers especially Owl Marching Band. Audrey was a member of the Women's Circle at First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking zucchini bread, Christmas Cookie baking with family, making Black Raspberry Preserves and meticulously taking care of her home. She spent many hours birdwatching from the porch. Audrey spent over 3000 hours volunteering with the CHOPS program at Carroll County General Hospital. She attended her children's and then her grandchildren's events whenever she could. She will be forever remembered fondly as Nana - ever giving of her love, time and support. Surviving Audrey are her children Charles R. Graf, Jr (Beth Mickelinc) of Gaithersburg, and Tammy S. Graf (Fred E. Rogers) of Hamburg, MI, Laura Perry Graf of Westminster; sisters Frances K. Knott of Arlington, MA, and Margie Knott of Shepherdstown, WV; grandchildren Kevin Graf, Tina Graf, and Gregory Angell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held at Westminster Cemetery by family and close friends.
