Jason Berry Obituary
Jason Craig Berry, 33, of Westminster, died Sunday, August 23, 2015. Born January 2, 1982 in Howard County, he was the son of Charmaine Berry-Burgess and Curtis Burgess of Westminster. He was employed with the NAACP in the IT Dept. He was a graduate of Westminster High School. He loved his children and family gatherings. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter Natalie Berry of Westminster and a son Nathan Berry of Rockville, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Mindy Burgess of Westminster, grandmother Dolores Burgess of Beverly Hills, FL, a cousin Carrie Jollie, aunts and uncles Scott and Lisa Singleton and Michael and Vicki Burgess. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Wm. Louis Piel officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.

Jason was a part of our family for many years. His daughter Natalie is my granddaughter. Jason always held a special place in my heart as he and my daughter Kristy were such a young couple but great parents to Natalie. Jason you will be missed and Natalie's life will never be the same without you. Rest in peace Jason and watch over Natalie and Nathan. We love you and will truly miss you.

Gone way to soon. Jason was such a talented young man. He had such a kind heart and gentle spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones especially his children. I don't think he knew how many people cared about and loved him! He was such a nice respectful guy who will be missed by so many!

I worked with Jason for a couple of months at the NAACP headquarters in Baltimore. He had such a genuine and kind spirit -- the kind of person you'd describe as a good guy. May he rest in peace and may God comfort his family and help them move forward as they celebrate his life.
