Jerry Lee Shank

Jerry Lee Shank, 72, of Westminster, MD, died Saturday, July 13, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 25, 1951, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Hubert Shank and Jeanette Heatherly Knight. Jerry was the devoted husband of 54 years to Mary Ann Shank, Howser. Jerry is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Timothy (Elida) Shank of Hanover, PA, Terry (Spring) Shank of Westminster, MD, and Amy (John) Rill of Keymar; grandchildren, John Jr., Alexander, Faith Rill, and Austin Shank; great grandchildren, Nadalie, Rilynn, Elliana, and Ava Rill; and brothers, Pete, Robert, George, and Tinker Shank. Jerry was preceded in death by sister, Brenda Naylor. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., 136 E Baltimore St., Taneytown, 21787. A funeral service will take place 11 a.m., Thursday, July 18, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Grace U.C.C. reformed Cemetery in Taneytown.
