Jorden Benedict

Jorden Lee Benedict passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 31. Born in Panama City, Panama, Jorden grew up with a generous heart and a warm spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He was a graduate of Winters Mill High School and carried with him a quiet strength and kindness that made a lasting impression. Jorden is survived by his loving mother, Kimberly Benedict, father, Bruce Benedict, sister, Kristina Bosley, and cherished niece, Reighlynn Bosley. He was a devoted son, a caring brother, and a proud uncle always ready with a smile and willing to give the shirt off his back for someone in need. To know Jorden was to know a man who brought light and laughter into the lives of others. Jorden's absence leaves a void, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His life, though far too short, was filled with love, compassion, and moments that will never be forgotten. The family will welcome friends on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 5-7pm, and Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10-12pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Following the services, the family invites all who knew and loved Jorden to join in a celebration of his life at the Westminster VFW, 519 Poole Road, Westminster, MD 21157, from 1-5pm. Interment will be in Westminster Cemetery, Westminster, MD. Interment will be private for the immediate family only. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations sent to The Boxer Transfer Network as this was a Boxer Rescue that Jorden was heavily involved with after adopting his baby girl Nala.
