Joyce Feustle Obituary

Joyce Louise Feustle, 82, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 14, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born April 29, 1939 to the late Cecil and Dorothy Coffman, she grew up in Baltimore with her sisters Judy Arnold (of Westminster) and Terry Mitchell (of Florida) and graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown in 1957. Joyce was an extremely dedicated homemaker and greatly enjoyed being a member of the Snydersburg Homemakers Association since 1972. She adored her trips to the beach, traveling across the country with her husband, gardening, tennis, going to the racetrack, bingo and bird watching. She also loved Bunco with "the girls," card games, crosswords, working as an election judge, and volunteering as a Carroll County 4-H dessert judge. She was a phenomenal cook and baker and was famous for her amazing pies. Joyce loved her golf and was an avid O's, Ravens and University of Maryland basketball fan. Joyce's greatest love was her family. She was married to her high school sweetheart, the late E. Richard Feustle, for 57 years. She was the most incredible wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. Joyce is survived by her five children, Sherry Cassell and husband Scott; Victoria Hepding and husband Alan; Richard Feustle and wife Laurie; Keith Feustle and wife Gina; and Kim Dignan and husband Tim. Lovingly called "Nanny," she was also a devoted grandmother to Tiffany Noone and husband Patrick; Matthew Cassell and wife Ashley; Justin Cassell and wife Rachael; Emilee Griffith; Brandon Hepding and fiancé Lisa Burd; Brooke Dignan; Erin Dignan; Connor Feustle; and Morgan Feustle. She was also a great-grandmother to Grace, Parker, Cooper, Abigail, Gracie, Colton and River. There was nothing she enjoyed more than attending their games, recitals and musicals. She always made God and family her priority. They were the greatest source of her joy. Visitations will be held Monday, April 18, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, MD 21074. A Requiem Mass will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

We would like to send our sincere sympathy to your family. It was a privilege to have been neighbors with your family for 50 years. Your Mom was a most kind and gentle person. She had a quality in making everyone feel welcome. Both of us have many good memories of your Mom and Dad at many of the Snydersburg Homemakers Events. You all have been blessed by having such wonderful parents. May God bless you over the coming months..but you all have those special memories to hold close to your heartz.
