Kathleen Curtis Obituary

Kathleen Rene Curtis, 52, of Hanover, Pa., died Sunday, May 16, 2010, in Hanover. Born June 10, 1957, in Niagra Falls, N.Y., she was the daughter of F. Keith Foran, of Sykesville, and the late H. Gail Foran. She was the wife of Gary Michael Curtis. She was an American Red Cross blood donor and was an "Honored Gallon Plus" donor. She was known as "MiMi" to her grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to father and husband, are daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Lawrence Gross, of Randallstown; son and daughter-in-law Michael and June Krappitz, of Utah, and Jessie Curtis, of St. Croix; brothers Timothy Foran and partner Carol Dickerson, and John Foran and wife Vanessa DiMantova; sister and friend Brigid Foran and Brandie Broman; grandchildren Shania, Alexia, Kenyon and Kolby; and nephews Jackson and Timothy. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.
