I found Kelly to be one of those people who you can immediately warm up to and confide in. We worked in different departments at UMBC but had dealings with one another on a fairly regular basis, and we often had serious heart-to-heart conversations in her office. I was stunned and deeply saddened to hear of her passing, and my heart goes out to her sons, sisters, and others who will miss her presence in their lives. Take good care of yourselves and each other. And Kelly -- I pray you rest in peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother and sister. Kelly was a wonderful person who always had a positive attitude - she was a great friend and former coworker - she will be greatly missed. She loved to the limit! I pray you find comfort in knowing that Kelly is safe and at peace in Jesus' arms! God bless - you are in my prayers.

I enjoyed cheerleading and marching band with Kelly. We bar hopped together on New year's day of my 18th birthday (1981). I love Kelly's smile and her joy. Sending prayers and condolences to the family, especially dad and Colleen as I remember you as well.

Kelly was the best neighbor! We were blessed to live at the top of the hill and loved our frequent talks on Dayspring. My heart is broken knowing she is not a phone call away or walk away.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Kelly and I were in high school and Girl Scouts together. In recent years, we would comment on each other's Facebook postings about music and Nascar, so I love that those two things were mentioned. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.
