Leslie Ross Obituary

Leslie Thressa Ross, 47, of Hampstead, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Born Oct. 24, 1962, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of James Kane, of Towson, and the late Sybil Benbridge Kane. She was the wife of Alan Michael Ross, her husband of 23 years. She was a 1981 graduate of Mercy High School. She enjoyed decorating and making birdhouses and spending time with her beagles. She was a former mortgage banker and a former advertising agent for the Northern News. Surviving, in addition to her father and husband, are a son, Philip Michael Ross, of Hampstead; sisters Cathy Capella, of Port Deposit, and Donna Myers, of Myrtle Beach, S.C; and nieces and nephew Melanie, Tim, Kim and Kristy. The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead. Interment will be private. So very sorry to hear of Leslies passing! She was a sweet lady! We were neighbors for a few years and talked many times! Her and I shared the love of Lighthouses and Mustangs. Alan and Philip will be in our prayers!! Lots of love sent your way!

Leslie and I had a different group of friends in high school, but one day we found ourselves together waiting to be picked up after school, and began talking.....she was a very kind and caring person and we had a great time chatting that day!! I was sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

OH GOD LES~ I never got a chance to say good bye! We did everything together in high school. I met you shortly after your mom passed & sat with you through many tears. I am so sad beyond words.
