Louise Davis Obituary



Louise S. Davis, 62, of Westminster, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born May 5, 1952 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Jane Shore Soiné of Westminster and the late Carl William Soiné. Her husband Christopher H. Davis died April 22, 2005 and her brother Gregory Paul Soiné died in 1991. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1970 and also graduated from Catonsville Community College. She was employed as a typesetter at BMWW in Randallstown and was a member of Everybody's Quilt Guild in Westminster. Besides her mother, she is survived by daughters, Caitlyn Pyne and husband David of Taneytown and Megan Davis of Westminster, brother Carl D. Soiné and wife Michele of La Plata, sister Suzanne H. Purdum and husband Tim of Missoula Montana. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at First United Presbyterian Church, 65 Washington Road Westminster, with Rev Brett Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Project Linus of Carroll County, 565 Sunshine Way, Westminster, MD 21157 or to the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, 200 Memorial Drive, Westminster, MD 21157. Arrangements by Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A.

Louise was a very special person with a heart of gold.
We enjoyed quilting together as well as our many retreats
and road trips. She will be sorely missed by her family
and many friends, me included
