Margot G. Tally

Margot G. Tally, 81, of Sykesville, formerly of Timonium, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at Copper Ridge following an extended illness. Born March 22, 1929, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Ruth Friend Gossett. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Tally, her husband of 47 years, who died March 17, 2002. She was a homemaker. She was an artist and painter, and had previously owned and operated an antiques restoration business in Timonium. She was a member of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Timonium. Surviving are son Gregg William Tally and wife Nancy; a daughter, Karen Elizabeth Tally; and granddaughter Kristen Lynne Tally. She was predeceased by sisters Gail Gossett and Ann Palmer. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Epiphany Episcopal Church, 2216 Pot Spring Road, Timonium. Interment will be held at the church after the services.
