Miriam Dell

Miriam "Peep" Irene Dell, 92, passed away on August 21, 2025 in Finksburg, MD. Born on May 12, 1933 in Patapsco, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Nina Thelma Schaeffer. Miriam is also preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Stump" Dell; and siblings, Albert Schaeffer, Jr., Ruth Knouse, Laura "Katie" Bowersox, and Ralph "Cuff" Schaeffer. Miriam was a member of Patapsco United Methodist Church and was a part of their Women's group. She enjoyed traveling around the world and was most proud of her family. Miriam is survived by sons, Gerald "Jerry" Dell and wife, Wanda, Steven Dell, and Dennis Dell and wife, Jessica; grandchildren; Samantha, Lauren, Jarred, Lindsay, and Addyson; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Mae and Lylah Grace; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Pritts Funeral home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm with Pastor Barbara Allen officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior. Interment will take place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Patapsco United Methodist Church, 2930 Patapsco Road Finksburg, Maryland 21048.
