Miriam Hull

Miriam Hull, 74, of Towson, passed away peacefully on October 22 at Stella Maris Hospice Care in Towson. She was born January 15, 1949, in Hanover, PA, to the late Norman M. and Naomi Shoemaker Hull. She was a 1967 graduate of Westminster High School and was the first majorette to incorporate twirling the baton with fire at WHS football games. She received a BS degree from the University of Maryland, with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Her first employment was an elementary teacher in Bethesda, MD. In addition, she taught gifted and talented students there. Miriam enjoyed swimming, watching football, attending art and jewelry classes and creating lovely art work and jewelry pieces. She also enjoyed being surrounded by nature. Miriam will be dearly missed by her sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth A. Hull of Baltimore, Nan (Hull) and husband Edward Sanders of Westminster. A private grave site service will be held at Pipe Creek Cemetery, near Linwood. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Westminster Church of the Brethren.
