Nadine Roberts

Nadine Shipley Roberts of Union Bridge, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home from cancer on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She was 65. Nadine was the treasured only daughter of Marvin and Wanda [née Livesay] Shipley. She was the beloved sister of Greg (Tammy), Stephen (Karen), and Seth (Carol) Shipley. She graduated from Liberty Baptist College in 1982 with a degree in education. She poured her heart and soul into teaching. She taught professionally as an English teacher, privately as a homeschool teacher, and spiritually as a teacher at Good Shepherd Ministry and a leader at her Bible study. Inspired by her farm upbringing, Nadine continued the family legacy by maintaining a dairy goat herd for almost 30 years. Nadine lived a life full of kindness and generosity. She was a devoted friend and a wonderful wife and mother. Most importantly, Nadine had a deep relationship and trust in Jesus Christ. Surviving are her parents and siblings; husband of over 38 years, David Roberts; children Bethany, Daniel (Jaclyne), and Hannah Roberts; many nieces, nephews, & cousins; Her granddaughter, Natalie, was the absolute light of her life. The family will welcome friends on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD and on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10 to 11 at Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd, Westminster, MD. A funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am at the church. Interment will follow immediately at Meadow Branch Cemetery, Westminster, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Ministry at Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd, Westminster, MD 21157.
