Patricia O. Masimore

Patricia Olive Masimore, 62, of Sykesville, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at home. Born Nov. 7, 1946, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lynn Joshua and Marjorie Leona Gartrell Trayer. She was the wife of Elmer Leroy "Butch" Masimore Jr., her husband of 43 years. She had been a customer service representative for many years and was an avid golfer. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son and daughter-in-law Duane and Linda Masimore, of York, Pa.; daughter and companion Patricia Gillen and Byron Walter, of Baltimore; brothers and sisters-in-law Edwin and Sharon Trayer, of Idaho, and Marvin and Barbara Trayer, of Chambersburg, Pa.; a sister, Marjorie Trayer, of Reisterstown; an aunt, Joyce Haines, of Littlestown, Pa.; and nephews Kevin, Todd and Joshua Trayer. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Mark Gillen. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
